ABOUT
I am a working mom of two young children, an owner of my solo law firm, and am married to a wonderful husband. I was raised by two extremely hard-working parents who taught me to respect others and to respect the environment.
Me and some of the Braymers in the historic Braymer cemetery in Washington County. Ryan’s family is from the Hebron/Granville area.

I attended Penn State University where I played on the Women's Rugby team all four years, playing in two national championship games. After college, I rose through the ranks of the local and regional select sides to become a member of the USA Women's National Rugby Team. I played for the U.S in the Women's Rugby World Cup in 2006 and 2010. I also played for the Albany Sirens when they won a national club side championship
Representing the USA Rugby Women's National Team in two World Cups is one of the most proud and humbling times of my life. Wearing the red, white and blue on your chest, and knowing that you were there for all of the women who laid the groundwork before you, everyone rooting for you at home, and all of the young women would who play after you was amazing. My success in leading the team at World Cup came from a lot of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, my ability to motivate others and pull them together for a greater cause, and my willingness to lean on others for support and advice.
I still coach rugby, I want to pass on what I’ve learned.
Rugby is a rough and tumble sport, we like to joke, “give blood, play rugby!"
Much of my environmental advocacy has focused on protecting natural resources and combating climate change. The Adirondack Park is a special and unique place where people and wilderness can coexist in harmony. The wild places of the Adirondacks have intrinsic values, and they also drive our outdoor recreation industry. Protecting the people and wild places of the Adirondacks is paramount to the success of our region.
